The Marketing Associate supports the Marketing Manager in the tactical development and timely execution of all brand marketing initiatives, in order to achieve overall business goals of the brand.
- Steward of the brand that supports the brand vision at all times
- Helps execute Marketing Plans and helps maintain the Marketing Budget
- Undertakes administrative tasks to ensure functionality and coordination of all projects
- Ensure timely and regular execution of all branding efforts – promotions, events, roll-outs
- Assists in the implementation of in-store initiatives across all retail stores
- Conducts regular store visits and ensures Visual Merchandising standards are maintained
- Works closely with internal teams, such as category management, creatives, supply chain, logistics, sales and operations to achieve timely rollout and implementation of projects
- Monitors all media placements of the brand
- Coordinates directly with press and influencers for product pull outs or sponsorships
- Assists in events organization and required legwork
- Coordinates directly with external suppliers for purchasing, advertising and media placements, and service requests
- Processes and encodes all requests for payments and ensures that all expenditures are duly paid on time
- Compiles and distributes financial and statistical information such as budget spreadsheets
- Prepares and writes reports, press releases, and other company documents as necessary
- Handles all on-ground work in relation to company events
- Conducts market research, competitor benchmarking, and other relevant studies
- Other ad hoc tasks that may be required and relevant in the role
