About Our Client
Our client is a Multinational Company in Marine Industry. They have been a respected player in the market and currently expanding their business by attracting Commercial Manager talent.
Job Description
- Work with the Yard Operations team to maintain optimal critical inventory levels for materials and consumables.
- Ensure internal stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations, and also determine when processes violate regulations.
- Take charge of executing the commercial strategies to meet revenue and margin targets.
- Handle enquiries from customers and manage competitive quotations/tariffs for Batam yards.
- Follow-up the tenders with customers and agents and negotiating the Contracts/Projects.
- Supervise team of estimators and commercial invoicing officers to ensure they discharge duties in accurate and timely manner.
- Handle client management of all Batam yards, as and when required and submitting reports.
- To be able to assess all risks and make recommendations based on analysis of factors affecting a business situation.
- Provide functional and management support in the management of Change, including negotiation and settlement of Change/Variation Orders with the clients;
- Review of existing company procedures and policies on commercial management, and provide constructive feedback for refining/updating of the existing procedures.
