Job Description
Role Purpose: The incumbent will assist in leading C&PA activities for PT Johnson & Johnson Indonesia with the aim to engage key stakeholders externally and internally – and reinforce their understanding and support of the company’s strategic objectives, business development, and performance. Key responsibilities include PR projects (also handling PR consultant and media monitoring agency), media sponsorship, and operating as part of the C&PA team, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) under Indonesia Community Impact.
Key Responsibilities: - Support Country Leader of C&PA who also lead the Indonesia Community Impact in the development and execution of external (Public and Media) communication strategies and programs as well as CSR.- Provide guidance, support and consultancy to the team on messaging, media relations, PR strategies including issues management.
- Development of press releases, key messages, talking points, Q&A, fact sheet, power point presentation for media target, boiler plate, etc.
- Maintain and update media data base as well as to manage and improve media relations (from journalists all the way to the chief editors).
- Maintain and update PR Tool Kit.
- To support C&PA Lead to coordinate messaging, media training and issues management workshops.
- Review corporate messages in marketing literature and sales support materials to ensure they are in-line with C&PA communication strategy and guidelines.
- Provide inputs on C&PA functional communications materials.
- To lead sponsorship requests from the media.
- Ensure that plans are executed according to agreed budget.
- To develop, maintain and sustain, monitor, and report C&PA PR initiatives in collaborating with across sectors and across functions team
- Support C&PA Country Leader in managing strategic PR communications on issues management, product launches, corporate events, etc.
- Collaborate and co-ordinate with internal stakeholders and counterparts in PT Johnson & Johnson Indonesia on the development and production of communications materials and activities such as speeches, high level presentation materials and Q&A.
- Leverage the full range of PR communications channels including two-way, face to face, print, digital, electronic, and broadcast as needed.
- Identify, evaluate and execute media sponsorships and CSR programmes in support of business objectives and enhance brand visibility in Indonesia
- Manage vendors and consultancies to ensure they deliver quality work on agreed timelines
- Actively shape the communications environment by generating ideas and refining processes and methods that push the boundaries of conventional communications models.
- Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of PR communications programs and uses results to strengthen the planning and execution of future programs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated corporate communications experience, preferably in Indonesia and with an international company.
- Good command of English and Indonesian is a requirement, verbal and written.
- Consistent track record in media management with strong relations with national media.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment – flexibility and adaptability is key.
- Outstanding project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and experience in working with teams with varied strengths on cross functional projects on both local and regional basis.
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills and proven track record to write creatively and edit a wide variety of communications collaterals including speeches, articles, announcements, intranet stories, video scripts, talking points, etc.
- Demonstrated experience of using intranet and social media tools for C&PA campaigns.
- Experience in managing resources (consultancies, PR/media agencies, freelance writers, photographers, videographers, etc)
