We are a technology based company which requires the highest quality Customer Support team to ensure that we continue to meet our promises and exceed the expectations of our customers. We have an exciting opportunity based in our Jakarta office which requires the services of a person experienced in hands on technical support and account management experience from an IT or electronics background.
- Field based technical support mostly within Western Australia as well as throughout the AUSPAC region as required (approx. 50-60% travel under normal workloads)
- Commissioning, maintenance, repair and upgrades to Equipment Simulators including:
- Networking local PC servers to multiple components including projectors, motion base, operator controls and computers as well as troubleshooting errors or connection issues
- Fault finding (Electronic) to board level
- Adjustment and fault finding in electromechanical (moving) parts (examples can include vehicle pedals, joysticks, switches, dials)
- Assembly of component parts, fitting of panels, brackets, ducting, equipment using appropriate tools
- Hardware, computer and equipment component replacement
- Software, PC and Server upgrades (or replacement)
- Service equipment such as small Compressors, AC (filter cleaning / replacement) and projectors (replace lamps)
- Remote, phone and email technical support including a 1 in 5 on call roster
- Deliver product training to customers which includes:
- Formal 1 to 3 days product training curriculum.
- Advice and support to improve customer confidence, efficiency and competence in using product functionality.
- Physically active position with regular light to medium manual handling required.
Job Requirement:
- Qualification Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Exposure to electrical & mechanical work. - Good understanding of low and high voltage application.
- 2-4 years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and Software application & installation
- Good understanding in MS Office applications
- Diploma/Degree Holder
- Speak English Fluently
Your excellent interpersonal skills, communication abilities and Information Technology (IT) knowledge will be essential to succeed in this role. These skills will enhance our customer’s utilization of their Simulators in a manner that results in constantly improving satisfaction and loyalty.
You must be capable of working with minimal supervision and be a strong self-starter.
This role requires the flexibility to travel to customer sites domestically and internationally. This would suit an individual who is able to develop and maintain effective customer relationships internally and externally and acknowledges and believes in the need for 24hour customer service.
