The Role
The Global Sales Director, Americas for the DC, MD, VA Regions is a team player who can work well both independently in this remote role and as a part of a larger dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that will maximize sales and profitability focusing on association and citywide markets working as a liaison between customers and hotel-based colleagues.
Location
Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia (DC, MD, VA) - Candidate must be based in this region.
Responsibilities include:
•Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth for the company's association and citywide accounts in the hospitality industry
•Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within the association market
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the association market
•Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure successful execution of sales strategies
•Serve as a key liaison between the corporate office and local hotel leaders.
•Foster relationships with city officials, convention bureaus, and other stakeholders.
•Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and market intelligence to inform sales strategies and tactics
•Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with association clients
•Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
•Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by working closely with hotel teams to deliver exceptional service to association clients
•Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, forecast sales results, and report on sales performance to senior management
•Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
