Job Description

HR Specialist

We're seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Specialist with 3-5 years of experience to manage the day-to-day HR operations for our growing company. You'll handle a variety of HR functions to support our employees throughout their lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and positive experience while maintaining compliance with employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist with sourcing and screening candidates, conduct interviews, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, handle disciplinary matters, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Policies and Compliance: Maintain and update employee handbooks and HR policies, ensuring compliance with local and national labor laws.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage enrollment, changes, and communication regarding employee benefits packages (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.).
  • Payroll and HRIS: Collaborate with the payroll team and manage employee data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Performance Management: Support the implementation of performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development processes.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics to gain insights and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

Desired Skills:

  • Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) is a plus.
  • Experience handling compensation and benefits analysis.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize effectively.
