HR Specialist
We're seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Specialist with 3-5 years of experience to manage the day-to-day HR operations for our growing company. You'll handle a variety of HR functions to support our employees throughout their lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and positive experience while maintaining compliance with employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist with sourcing and screening candidates, conduct interviews, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, handle disciplinary matters, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Policies and Compliance: Maintain and update employee handbooks and HR policies, ensuring compliance with local and national labor laws.
- Benefits Administration: Manage enrollment, changes, and communication regarding employee benefits packages (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.).
- Payroll and HRIS: Collaborate with the payroll team and manage employee data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Performance Management: Support the implementation of performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development processes.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics to gain insights and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
Desired Skills:
- Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) is a plus.
- Experience handling compensation and benefits analysis.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize effectively.
