International Book & Conference Section Head

Job Descriptions

Conference Management :

• Coordinate Binus joint International Conference event (BJIC)
• Main person-in-charge for International Conference on Biospheric Harmony Advanced Research (ICOBAR)
• Find appropriate publisher to publish the conference paper of BJIC
• Manage strong networking with NUNI, IPU-Net, national university, and foreign university to ensure the success of BJIC
• Actively engage faculty member to participate in BJIC
• Identify appropriate publication outlet for Faculty Member, such as international conference, journal, book chapter, etc. 
• Promote participation as co-host in the international conference organized by NUNI member and foreign university. 

Book Publishing :

• Manage book/monograph/report publication of Faculty Member and Research and Technology Transfer (RTT)
• Engage the faculty member to publish book as a dissemination of research result
• Supervise, report and evaluate all activities related to book publication process
• Ensure effective process of overall book publishing in BINUS University 
• Supervise the distribution process for all publications to related units
• Supervise record and documentation of all published books in BINUS University 
• Coordinate the contract agreement documents for the publication authors

Management Support Activities:

• Provide Report to direct Supervisor
• Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost)
• Perform activities related to Quality Management System
• Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor

Education Requirement: 

• Minimum Bachelor Degree

Work Exposure/ Experience: 

• Minimum 2 years in Senior Staff level position, or 
• Minimum 4 years of working experience

Special Skill :

• Knowledge in basic project management
• Knowledge about international conference management
• Knowledge about book publishing

• Leadership
• Project Leader
