Material Manager

Job Description:

• Create and maintain the company's supply chain strategy for materials, analyzing data from material forecasting and operations.
• Manage the activities of the material, mixing, crusher, and extruder departments to achieve company KPIs.
• Provide material handling and strategy for a cost-effective buying plan of direct materials based on demand forecasts, as well as customer segmentation and analysis.
• Support and assist in framas 2 activities to achieve company KPIs.
• Utilize IoT and collaborate with digitalization to design reports and processes that lead to simplification and enhanced business planning.
• Prepare weekly material overview meetings using cross-functional input and facilitate discussions.
• Work on improvement/kaizen initiatives in the Material/Mixing/Crusher/Extruder area.

Requirements:

• University degree in Chemistry Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or any related field
• At least 5 years working experience in a management level position related to Supply Chain Management and Plastics etc., is a plus.
• Experience in the sports shoe industry are preferred.
• Knowledge in Raw material.
• Very good language proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) is a must.
• Skilled in handling Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, etc.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills are compulsory.
• Self-motivation, ability to work independently and an attitude of continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of compliance, laws, and close communication with the Human Resource Dept.
