Job Description - Program Officer, MSC for Immunization
The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a global health organization dedicated to saving lives and reducing disease burden in low- and middle-income countries.CHAI works with governments and the private sector to create and sustain high-quality health systems.They focus on various diseases, including HIV, COVID-19, malaria, tuberculosis, hepatitis, cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and more.

Responsibilities
• Provide technical assistance to improve EPI's visibility and coordination on zero dose (ZD) investments.• Support EPI in facilitating meetings and capacitating the steering committee for ZD monitoring and coordination.• Collaborate with government units beyond immunization to enhance EPI's reach and effectiveness.• Strengthen institutional capabilities in planning, budgeting, and mobilizing resources for ZD objectives.• Design and implement tools/guidance documents/training materials for sub-national levels.• Conduct capacity building activities and problem-solving for ZD objectives and immunization goals.• Document processes/systems and learnings from ZD strategies at different levels.• Perform data collection, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.• Perform finance and admin functions as needed.• Handle other tasks assigned by senior management.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a public health discipline; preferably a master's or above.• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment.• Experience working with government officials and multilateral organizations in LMICs.• Sound knowledge of Indonesia's health system, planning, and budgeting.• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including data analysis.• Good communication skills and familiarity with government bureaucracies.• Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.• Ability to synthesize evidence and make actionable recommendations.• High emotional intelligence and ability to build strong relationships.• Proven project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.• Sensitivity to cultural contexts.• Strong commitment to CHAI's mission and a team player.• Ability to travel extensively (at least 35% of the time).• Fluency in English and Indonesian (oral and written).
