AlamatThe Quality Engineer II (Mobile) for FedEx Dataworks actively supports the development and execution of software quality methods and processes. Under supervision and guidance this position performs and supports the development of tests, methods, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance standards.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Maintain the development, execution, and software documentation on test plans using both automated and manual testing to ensure products meet design specifications.
- Analyze client requirements and provide feedback.
- Assist in monitoring progress and results of automated testing efforts for appropriate teams.
- Participate in transforming manual test documentation into automated test scripts.
- Continuously improve the productivity and efficiency of testing efforts using innovative tools and techniques.
- Apply test standards, procedures and functional specifications for test approaches.
- Craft and maintain test data and test documentation (status reports, metrics, and more).
- Support setup, configuration, and maintenance of automated testing environments in a continuous integration setting; implement and execute functional, regression, exploratory, automation, and other tests as needed.
- Assist in formulating QA standards, organizational policies and processes, and strategic plans.
- Collaborate on solutions for issues and errors based on system and client business processes.
- Know the latest technologies and best practices as appropriate.
Skills/Abilities:
- Testing across Android and iOS platforms
- Experience with software including XCode, Android Studio, Charles Proxy, Appium, BrowserStack emulated/virtual test devices
- Experience with hardware including Android Devices (Samsung Galaxy S20/21, Samsung Galaxy A50/51/52, Samsung Galaxy A40/41/42, Samsung Galaxy A11/12/13, Google Pixel)
- Experience with iOS Devices (iPhone 13 or latest, iPhone SE)
- Experience using native and 3rd party testing frameworks for mobile (XCTest, XCUITest. Appium, Espresso/UIAutomator2)
- Experience with automated testing frameworks including Selenium (preferably with Java).
- Familiarity with test case management tools (i.e. qTest)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and ADO (Microsoft) environment.
- Understanding of the transportation industry, competitors, and evolving technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
- Familiarity with Software design, coding, control and review of code, configuration management, change management, program testing, integration of software, and release management process.
- Two (2) years of related work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements.
Domicile Information:
This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
