Responsibilities:
- Build and grow a best in-class R&D team.
- Manage the R&D team consists Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineer, and System Engineer.
- Lead and work closely with R&D engineers to architect and develop the best technical and reliable designs for new product life sciences and medical devices.
- Communicate between teams within the R&D organization to ensure effective and timely input, resolve conflicts, and lead technical solutions.
- Review, feedback and approve R&D designs, drawings, test plan & report, and design compliance documents.
- Work collaboratively across Product Management, Program Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing to manage and ensure the deliverable, deadline, transfer design, and release new product documentation.
- Management of departmental resources, staffing, and mentoring
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in life sciences’ General Laboratory Equipment (GLE) or Medical Device industry.
- Experience and knowledge in thermal management or gas management.
- Knowledge in mechanical structural and DFMEA.
- Knowledge in AC systems or DC systems.
- Experience in an engineering and manufacturing industry designing and delivering products through cross functional team network.
- Full design cycle experience from early conceptual phase to new product release phase based on Quality Management System ISO 13485
- Ability to mentor engineers.
- Ability and creditability to motivate teams.
- Cross departmental knowledge.
- Good in written and spoken in Chinese & English language.
- Knowledge in Regulatory.
