Our refined yet approachable restaurant concept aims to bring a unique and elevated dining experience to Palm Springs, artfully presenting a taste and experience of Eastern Mediterranean cuisine through the robust and fresh ingredients of all that California has to offer. We seek a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our Lola Roseteam,who will contribute to the success of this exciting new offering!
As the Restaurant General Manager, your leadership will be pivotal in the pre-opening and ongoing operations of Lola Rose. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Lola Rose, ensuring exceptional service is offered upon every touchpoint of this memorable dining experience for our guests. This is a fantastic opportunity, years in the making, for a seasoned Food & Beverage professional to be a part of this new and innovative restaurant debuting inthe Palm Springs culinary scene!
The Lola RoseGeneral Manager Responsibilities may include:
- Responsible for short and long term planning and the management of Lola Rose and related operations in the front and back of the house
- Develop and recommend the budget, concepts and objectives, and manage within those approved plans
- Implement and maintain food & beverage sales/marketing programs
- Direct and oversee development of colleagues
- Hire, train, and empower restaurant colleagues
- Direct the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for Lola Roseand relatedoperations
- Coordinate operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service
- Resolve customer concerns as appropriate tomaintaina high level of customer satisfaction and quality
- Implement procedures to increase guest and colleague satisfaction
- Exercise quality control for both food and beverage
- Maintain Hyatt and Thompson standards of service and ensure their implementation
- Perform daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards
- Maintain communications with Corporate Office
- Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures
- Foster a high energy, positive, and professionally presented team
- Plan, coordinate & manage special events and holiday functions
The salary range for this leadership opportunity is $80,000 to $90,000 annually. This is the pay range that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.
