About the job As a Freight forwarding Sales / Marketing Person, you would be responsible for bringing sales for Air Freight, Sea Freight, Road Transportation, Warehousing, and Local Distribution. Job Description
- Meet revenue target set by the company
- Develop and execute company Business Development Plan and account strategy at country level in line with customers time to market requirements
- Drive new business development through innovative strategic and tactical sales / marketing plans
- Excellent people skill and able to build rapport with people of all levels
- Understand the customer and the customer expectations/requirements, Sell the value propositions of company’s products and services
- Regular interaction with the customer to follow up on quotes, solutions, service delivery and quality issues
- Coordinate global and regional responses to customer requests for rates & information
- Maintain and perform scheduled visits/meetings for close customer relationship building
- To respond to incoming queries and ensure quick service to customers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Male / Female with maximum 40 years old
- Minimum Diploma Degree
- Minimum 2 year excellent sales / marketing experience in International Freight Forwarding / Shipping line / 3PL
- Sales target oriented, ready to expand new business and develop new client.
- Fluent in English written & oral and able to operate computer (work, exel, power point)
- Having good business networking in forwarding industry
- Good in interpersonal skill, communication, presentation and negotiation skill
- Excellent planning, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong individual that can work independently and within a team to deliver results
