What You Will Do
- Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with company leadership to create, own, and execute a product roadmap, vision, and strategy that aligns with our organizational goals
- Influence Peers and Stakeholders: Leverage data, logic, and user empathy to influence your peers, stakeholders, and key executives
- Own Key Results: Take ownership of critical metrics, including customer satisfaction, usability, on-time releases, and overall product impact
- Build Trusted Relationships: Develop strong relationships with engineering and business leaders. Collaborate seamlessly to ensure optimized product delivery and foster a culture of excellence
- Effective Communication: Convey important messages clearly and compellingly to cross-functional stakeholders
- Prioritization and Execution: Manage prioritization, product definition, execution, rollout, and impact analysis for initiatives within your problem area
What You Will Need
- At least5 years of experience in product management, demonstrating a track record of success in delivering innovative B2B/B2C products with a keen eye for design and strong product instincts. Experience in payments and transfers will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with leadership to develop product strategy and vision.
- Possess a strong sense of agency in navigating and creating clarity in ambiguous situations.
- Ability to break down complex problems, identify use cases and solutions, and thrive in unstructured environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of data, design, research, software engineering, and business processes, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the capability to utilize data and metrics to support requirements and features.
- Effective communication skills to articulate strategy, insights, priorities, and plans coherently to all levels of management.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to upholding high standards and managing multiple, competing priorities concurrently with minimal supervision.
About The Team
The Payments team in Gojek spans both customer payments (GoPay e-money and wallet) and merchant payments (online payments via Midtrans). Midtrans is one of the largest payment gateways in Indonesia. Spots is the largest offline network for payments in Indonesia.
We have helped simplify payments for over 750,000 merchant partners, over 1,000,000 driver partners, and millions of customers - from the bike drivers down your street to your favorite Gorengan and Martabak stalls. But, the growth of Payments does not stop here. We are hungry for more. We intend to become the largest payment and financial services group in Southeast Asia.
The Productivity & Money Management team is a stream within Midtrans that aims to solve our merchants and partners pain points over managing their funds - be it for their own businesses or for their clients - to help them streamline their operations and grow their business. Our success depends on the success of our merchant partners who rely on us for their payment needs. This team will focus on the merchant's and partner's money management domain, along with partner infrastructure, which will include creating, owning, and executing a product roadmap aligned with product strategy.
