Responsibilities:
As a member of our team, you will:
- Assist in developing and implementing research methodologies for social and economic research projects.
- Collect and analyze data using a variety of research techniques, including surveys, interviews, literature reviews, and data mining.
- Support in preparing research reports, presentations, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with the research team to ensure efficient execution of projects and the attainment of objectives.
- Conduct literature reviews and secondary data analysis to inform research studies.
- Assist in data cleaning, coding, and statistical analysis using appropriate software.
- Help interpret research findings and identify patterns or trends.
- Stay updated on the latest research methodologies, industry trends, and best practices in social and economic research.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the overall success of research projects.
- Maintain accurate and organized research documentation.
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in social sciences such as psychology, sociology, economics, or related fields, with a preference for a master's degree in public policy or economics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a researcher (Social Research is a plus).
- Prior experience in conducting research, preferably in a social or economic context.
- Familiarity with research methodologies and techniques, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Data analysis skills: Proficiency in using statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R).
- Strong analytical thinking: ability to analyze and interpret research data effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey research findings and collaborate with team members.
- Strong attention to detail in data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced research environment.
