We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager Legal & Compliance to join our dynamic legal team in the insurance industry.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal guidance and support to our organization, ensuring that we remain compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
You will be responsible for handling complex legal matters, advising senior management, and helping shape the legal strategy for our insurance business.
Job Descriptions :
- Ensure company activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, particularly those related to crowdfunding, financial services, and Sharia principles.
- Engage in contract negotiations and the drafting of various agreements, including but not limited to partnership agreements, service terms, and insurance policies.
- Identify and assess legal risks associated with business activities, and develop strategies to reduce and manage these risks.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and provide guidance to ensure ongoing company compliance.
- Oversee the dispute resolution process, including litigation management and alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and ethical business practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and business to provide legal guidance and support.
- Conduct awareness campaigns to enhance legal understanding and compliance among employees.
Requirements :
- Accredited law degree. Additional expertise or certification in the Sharia industry is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of legal experience, with a focus on financial services, crowdfunding, and insurance. Strong understanding of changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in drafting various complex legal agreements, including partnership agreements, service terms, and insurance policies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and comprehensibly.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead and guide legal teams. Capable of creating a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in problem-solving. Able to think strategically and provide practical legal solutions.
- Experience in leading complex legal projects and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
