As a Wellheads Design Engineer at SPM Oil and Gas, you will spearhead the design and development of cutting-edge wellhead systems for our projects. Your role will be pivotal in creating innovative solutions that maximize efficiency, reliability, and safety in operations. Leveraging your expertise in mechanical and structural design, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our wellhead systems meet and exceed industry standards. You will have the opportunity to drive design optimization, integrate new technologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.

What You Will Do:
- Perform engineering design functions including design calculations, layouts, drawings, material selection, BOM (Bill of Materials) to ensure equipment is in accordance with the applicable industry Standards and customer requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and ownership on execution plans for engineering deliverables of assigned projects, including test schedule, procedure and report outlining all the appropriate requiredparameters.
- Assist with the assembly and testing of prototypes and test equipment.
- Prepare manual rig book installation procedure and performed product testing.
- Produce disposition on non-conformance reports (NCR) on manufactured equipment.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, testing, sourcing, field service and project management on issues associated with systems design and manufacture throughout the project cycle.
- Support the Aftermarket Department via reviewing and dispositioning Request to refurbish/repair used equipment.
What You Have:
- Minimum University degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years engineering experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Basic proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD applications, preferably ACAD and SolidWorks.
- Awareness of materials & processing, including welding and heat treatment of metals and elastomers.
- Awareness of industry standards and codes for area of work
Additional Information
Shift: Regular
Work location: Batam, Kepulauan Riau
You will work both in an office and manufacturing shop-floor environment.
Domestic relocation is not available for this position.
