AlamatRemedy is looking for an Accounting Associate to join our Finance team! As our Accounting Associate you will be supporting our Finance Manager in the day-to-day operations of Remedy and its growing group of companies (ie. Healthspan Global, Inc., etc.).
The role is a hybrid setup with 4x a week remote and 1x a week onsite. You will report directly to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Will support both Remedy and Healthspan under the supervision of the Finance Manager
- Assist the Finance Manager in completing the SOP for Remedy and Healthspan and providing process documentation and improvement
- Assist the Finance Manager in documenting the financial processes needed by Remedy and Healthspan
- Assist in month-end closing activities of Remedy and Healthspan
- Assist in reconciliation of accounts especially for inventory and sales transactions
- Timely prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR remittances and their attachments (Expanded, Compensation, VAT, Income) for review by the Finance Manager
- Timely and accurate processing of transactions for payment (voucher preparation, QBO encoding, Shopify, Zenoti)
- Perform monthly inventory count procedures
- Timely prepare the other reportorial requirements to the BIR (e.g. inventory list)
- Prepare an internal deadline calendar (BIR, SSS, Philhealth, Pag-Ibig, SEC, LGU)
- Prepare the monthly remittances to SSS, Philhealth and Pag-Ibig
- Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
- Other tasks to be given from time to time
