ANV Hospitality Group is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and General Manager to ensure correct stock levels are available from the central distribution area, to assist the operational Floor, Kitchen, and Bar team
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety legislation and requirements
- Ensure that the industry standard for safety and hygiene
- Opening and closing the restaurant
- Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members
- Assist The Manager to be the department representative for Special Events, working on each special event as the departmental duty manager
- Prepare shift schedules
- They will also liaise with the Marketing team and Floor team to collate and respond to all customer correspondence, ensuring this is communicated to the General Manager and all Department, where appropriate
- Keep detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly costs and revenues
- Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements to our menus
- Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced
- Support to ensure they fit with guidelines and are of the high quality of our guests expect
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
Requirements:
- Based in Bali
- Work experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Able to speak English
- Customer service & leadership skills
- Communication and team management abilities
- Availability to work within opening hours
- Food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and server staff
