Binus Journal Section Head

Job Descriptions:

1. Supervise, report and evaluate all activities related to BINUS Journal & Publication process
2. Ensure effective process of overall BINUS Journal publishing in BINUS University
3. Responsible for obtaining the accredited journals in BINUS University
4. Coordinate with all Head of academic departments to conduct BINUS Journal & Publication activities
5. Coordinate with Head of department/publication authors to confirm technical reliability, quality of the publication content and final approval process
6. Oversee publication production to ensure meeting the deadlines
7. Supervise the distribution process for all publications to related units
8. Supervise record and documentation of all published journals in BINUS university
9. Coordinate the contract agreement documents for the publication authors
10. Ensure effective operational process in academic publishing area
11. Coordinate and monitor financial payment process related to publication activities (authors, production vendors, etc.)
12. Coordinate substantive administrative publication reports and documents
13. Monitor information regarding overseas accreditation journals
14. Disseminate information regarding available overseas accreditation journals to research administration Section Head and respective research coordinators and/or faculty members and/or students.

Management Support Activities:
o Provide Report to direct Supervisor.
o Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost).
o Perform activities related to Quality Management System.
o Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor.

General Requirement :
• Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1)

Working Experience :
• Minimum 2 years working experience in Senior Staff, or
• Minimum 4 years working experience

Special Skill :
• Knowledge of sponsored projects principles, practices and procedures (related to program, project, or initiative expertise)
• Knowledge in basic project management
• Knowledge in grants and contracts process

• Project Management
