As a Business Development Manager for Clinical Trial Services, the primary goal is to spearhead the growth of the business by proactively identifying and acquiring new clients. This role involves strategic planning, engaging potential clients, preparing proposals, and successfully negotiating and closing deals. The focus will be on expanding the company's pool of clinical trial clients in Indonesia. Ensure the smooth execution of Clinical Reach projects between operations team locally and regionally and the clients.
Responsibilities:
- Market Mapping and Targeting: Conduct a comprehensive review of Clinical Reach principals within Indonesia and develop a strategic approach to target them effectively.
- Perform competitor analysis for Indonesia market
- Client Engagement: Engage both existing and potential Clinical Reach principals to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proposal Preparation: Prepare and send out Requests for Information (RFI) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) to initiate discussions with potential clients.
- Presentation: Develop compelling proposals and presentations for potential and existing clients, aimed at showcasing the company's logistics, sourcing, and project management services for clinical trials.
- Negotiation and Contract Initiation: Collaborate with SSG Finance and APL Operations to negotiate favorable terms and conditions. Facilitate the contract initiation process by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Implementation Coordination: Oversee the smooth transition from contract negotiation to project implementation by coordinating with CTM Operations.
- Liaison with Regional Office: Maintain open communication and coordination with the Regional Office to ensure alignment with broader business strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in Business Development Management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fluency in both written and spoken English and Indonesian
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a large organization are essential qualifications.
- Proficiency in computer usage, effective presentation skills
- Experience and connections in academics and clinical trials or pharmaceuticals is a plus
- A background in Clinical Trials, pharmaceutical operations, or project management is appreciated.
