Digital Marketing And Seo Specialist

La Galigo Liveaboard are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing and SEO specialist with a background in the diving industry. We operate a liveaboard in Raja Ampat and Komodo and have an exciting opportunity to join our office team based in Sanur, Bali. As well as a background in diving, the right person for the job needs to be fluent in writing and speaking English as the job will entail checking and approving content created by staff who’s first language is not English.

Please note that this role is based at our Sanur office in Bali, Indonesia. KITAS and IMTA (Right to stay and work permit for 1 year) will be included if the applicant is not an Indonesian National. There is also opportunity to partake in dive trips on the vessel for product familiarisation and content capture.

2 current primary focuses of this role will determine the right applicant are; 

• Google ads (search campaign, ad words, youtube) optimization and maintenance

 • Website SEO building and maintenance 

 Other regular responsibilities and tasks: 

• Manage Graphic Designer/Social Media Specialist 

• Manage Marketing departmental budget 

• SocMed development, growth and maintenance (Insta / FB / TikTok / LinkedIn) 

• SocMed Ads Management 

• KOL/Influencer assessment, hiring and management 

• Manage digital assets for sales agents and affiliates

• Plan and execute activities to increase website SEO ranking, including writing and publishing blogs, technical back-end audit and maintenance, research and optimisation of keywords, managing all aspects of backlinks including building backlinks and removing toxic backlinks and all other relevant SEO related tasks. 

• Conduct website UX constant review, audit, and improvements

• Maintain website health through daily checks and fixes 

• Brand listening post online, responding to reviews, content comments etc.

• Actively engage and talk about the brand online in forums such as Reddit, ScubaBoard, Underwater Australasia, DeeperBlue etc. 

• Research, advise and plan brand growth opportunities such as dive shows, podcast involvement, online dive magazine collaborations, advertising space etc

• Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits, and trends 

• Work in conjunction with the sales team and General Manager to advise when specials and discounts are required, plan and execute individual specials campaigns

• Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns in line with the direction of the brand 

• Conduct outbound & inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, Social Media Platforms, Analytics etc). 

• Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, E-Mail, Offline Media, Paid Advertising) 

• Analysing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc) to help shape future marketing strategies 

• Manage and maintain all Social Media platforms, including post creation, publication and ensuring maximum exposure is achieved 

• Brief weekly report on Digital Marketing and SEO progress

• Provide in depth monthly reports to identify successful /non-successful execution of Marketing activity and ongoing progress against past 12 months

• This position will report directly to the General Manager

 Requirements 

• Proven experience as a Digital Marketing And/or SEO Specialist or similar role 

• Tertiary education in Marketing, IT, business and technology, or equivalent 

• Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and Digital Marketing such as SEO/social media, Link creation, etc) and market research methods 

• Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools 

• Solid computer skills, including MS Office 

• Skills in media creation (Photoshop, Video Editing) advantageous but not essential 

• Understanding of Google AdWords & Social Media Advertising 

• Understanding of Web-Based Technologies (HTML, CSS, WordPress, SEO analytical tools) 

• Well-organized and detail oriented 

• Exceptional communication and writing skills in English (Additional languages are advantageous but not essential) 

• You will ideally already be in Bali or on successful application, be able to relocate to Bali.
