About the Job

The Energy Consulting Services Engineer will become part of Consulting & Products Business Line of Technip energies, joining the organization of Genesis, a technical Advisor specialized in Energy sector. The role will be focused on the Sustainable Energies Industry and on the Downstream segment of the Oil & Gas Industry.

The candidate will join an international Consulting Services Group that combines leading experts worldwide and offers a portfolio of services in Power to X, CCUS, Hydrogen, refining, gas processing, LNG, ethylene, petrochemicals, fertilizers and GTL. Her/his role consists in the development of studies such as Conceptual, Feasibility, Master Planning, Funding Application support, Technology Assessment and Integration, Refining Optimization, Chemical Processing optimization, Energy Efficiency, Carbon Assessment, all of them both from technical and economical perspective.

In the early years the candidate will experience a wide range of opportunities to enhance not just process design capabilities but also knowledge of other engineering disciplines and project management that constitute the bedrock of a successful career. The candidate will be trained on the use of a range of software design tools, typical of the industry, such as Aspen, HYSYS, etc.

Joining an extremely dynamic and stimulating working environment, she/he will be exposed to an international network of colleagues and Clients and will progressively get the opportunity to work with other centers of Technip Energies in France, UK, Malaysia, India, North America, etc.

Reporting lines and interactions:

Hierarchical reporting: Genesis Italy - Head of Country

Operational reporting: Delivery Manager, Study Manager, Consulting Services Lead

Key interfaces:

Internal: Process design, Sales & Proposal, Engineering, Finance, Tax and Legal, Project Management teams.

External: Clients, Suppliers, Subcontractor.

About You

The ideal candidate is a young Master degree graduate with maximum 2 years of work experience.

Must have:

• Master degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering
• Consolidated use knowledge of MS Office Package (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
• Fluent English

• Knowledge of Linear Programming (Aspen PIMS)
• Knowledge of PRO II/HYSYS process simulators
• Basic understanding of Economic and Financial Analysis.

The candidate will progressively be in charge of:

• Developing Process Design
• Supporting to the preparation of Feasibility Study Proposal
• Managing market Study Consulting Companies
• Developing economic and financial Models
• Developing the study documentation to Clients (reports, presentations, PFDs, etc.)
• technologies and licensors selection
• develop PIMS linear programming software
