People Partner - South Yorkshire - circa £32000
Hybrid working - 3 days in an office/site around South Yorkshire area and 2 WFH. 12-month FTC
Your new company
A leading public sector organisation with sites around the South Yorkshire area ( Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley) are seeking a People Partner (HR Advisor) on a 12-month FTC due to projects and changes.

Your new role
Reporting to the Senior People Partner you will act as 1 of 4 regional experts, providing comprehensive HR advice and support throughout a designated area.
You will be advising and coaching various Site and Departmental Managers on all areas of people and human resources issues including absence management, investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and general HR advise/guidance.
You will also work on a project for the organisation - part of a review to take the lead on upskilling/training Managers on best practice and policy around general HR and staff management. This will include drafting and producing training (redevelop existing workshops) and delivery.
You will also support Managers with the People Plan - namely Work Force Planning and cultural improvements.
Working in a hybrid manner - you can "base" yourself at a number of locations around South Yorkshire; including Sheffield HQ, Sheffield sites, Doncaster, Rotherham or Barnsley.
This will be circa 3 days a week with travel in the field - expensed mileage paid. with the other 2 days working from home, if you wish.
Flexible working arrangements in the 37-hour working week are also available.

What you\'ll need to succeed

You will be an experienced HR Professional with experience in generalist areas of HR & ER and also ideally some L&D/Training delivery to Managers.
CIPD Level 5 minimum or suitably equivalent experience (career / study supported).
Car/driving license holder (due to regional travel involved)
