Job Purpose


The purpose of this job is to implement set of In-store programs developed in line with the strategic framework of the BU, by helping SSO's modernize to enable the consumers to have the right ambiance, and tools for decision making in-store, equipping the SSO owner and the shop staff to be able to better guide shoppers and cross/up-sell in the process targeted at driving offtake from stores to help the distributors/ organization sell out/ in. The job will involve working closely with the area sales teams to identify the right store for implementation, facilitate the installation of the merchandising plans and deployment of shop assistant/ product consultant working with vendors and ensure delivery of the SMART KPI's.

Key Accountabilities


To winning in customer heart, there is certain of store excellent to have to manage from the stock, display which related to category management, Dulux consultant until the experience that we offer different from the competitor

Point of contact to manage all supporting attribute to win the customer heart in the level of store. Currently we have 600 stores all over Indonesia which has Dulux Consultants and branding element in the stores. Apart from the traditional store we also have 8 Dulux Experience stores which needed a person to manage the sustainability from branding & activation perspective in order to give experience of customers

  • Responsible for deployment of the In-Store model merchandising aimed at addressing shopper needs, building on the Dulux Experience store developed bluestore roles and guideline principle
  • Work closely with the sales team for identifying the set of core SSO's for deployment of the In-store merchandising model, based on store classification
  • Work with the marketing head and brand marketing team to run targeted activation campaigns run at stores for shoppers
  • Deploy the tools and templates for measurement of store performance to justify AkzoNobel's investment
  • Sharing the monthly dashboard to highlight store performance and share it as part of the country sales and marketing meeting and highlight future targets/ plans to cover up any deviations/ gaps
  • Work with the Head of channel to understand the regional Category Management (CatMan) approach based on the sopper based activity

Key Activities

  • Planning, monitoring instore activation across channel in Indonesia horizon
  • Together with brand team to design the activation for traffic incremental for entire Dulux Experience stores
  • Monitoring quarterly basis on store activation implementation and evaluated the result also taking the integrated improvement plan to maximize the support
  • Actively monitoring expo, activation or customer event related with store to increase awareness & consideration
  • Work closely with the sales team for identifying the set of core SSO's for deployment of the shop assistant/ product consultants, based on store classification
  • Work with brand marketing team to run targeted activation campaigns at stores for shoppers
  • Deploy the tools and templates for measurement of store performance to justify AkzoNobel's investment in line with the regional guidance and based on the SMART KPI's
  • Sharing the monthly dashboard to highlight store and shop assistant performance and share it as part of the country sales and marketing meeting and highlight future targets/ plans to cover up any deviations/ gaps
  • Ensure the shop assistants are well-trained and equipped on the needed skills, tools and information ( verbalization , handling objection , grooming and product knowledge)
  • Facilitate the market deployment of the Category Management (CatMan) approach for the large format SSO's based on retail segmentation and LSO channel (wherever LSO channel is existing)
  • Enable deployment of the appropriate category drivers and work with the brand marketing team to design the customer promotion plans linked to the drivers
  • Plan and organize country level trainings for Category Management (wherever needed)

Experience


Skills and Knowledge

  • Understanding of the merchandising concepts, and prior experience in Category Management (CatMan) and/ or KAM will be added advantage
  • Should have the ability to convert Research data and Commercial data into insights and commercial business ideas
  • Superior Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word),
  • Must be a self-starter, highly organized with good project management skills; ability to multi-task effectively and meet deadlines
  • Able to manage complexity with can do and positive attitude
  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal communication skills) and strong interpersonal and influencing skills

Education


Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business or related course with a minimum of 4 - 6 years in a commercial role with prior experience is mandatory – sales/ trade marketing/ channel marketing experience or country level experience in a commercial role in paint and/or building and construction material industry will be an advantage
