Legal & Compliance Admin

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in law.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Legal & Compliance officer, legal consultant, or similar position (preferred experience from legal consultant/agency/commerce/mining/outsourcing/media company).
• Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations.
  Outstanding interpersonal abilities and an analytical mind with exceptional organizational skills. 
• Excellent legal knowledge and in drafting, and negotiating legal documents both in English and Indonesia
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Bahasa.
• Hardworking and reliable, able to handle multiple streams of work and prioritize efficiently
• Adaptable and able to learn quickly
• A team player, but also a self-starter; able to work independently but also collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

Job Descriptions:

1.  Liaise with internal stakeholders, shareholders and internal users, such as Strategic Operations, Business Development, Finance, HR, and Operations

2. Business Partner & Clients:
- Working with the business to effectively manage legal and compliance risks impacting all business lines active and implementing control policies to ensure compliance with applicable requirements, ethical standards, and the risk appetite
- Providing support to the business to handle any customer complaints
- Promoting awareness of new laws and regulations and establishing and maintaining mechanisms to monitor on-going compliance.
- Conducting research and drafting reports and summaries of research

3. Contracts Review 
- Handling the preparation of relevant documentation including contracts & agreements, legal advice, memorandums, etc
- Reviewing and drafting legal documentation including agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, contract addendums/extensions and contract renewals and terminations
- Contract end-to-end process management: contract review process, contract signature rules and oversight of maintenance of contract repository for all business fields of Vandika Group agreements

4. Regulator Relationship Management:
- Oversee all government authority and regulatory communications by implementing and administering our client's government / regulator communications protocols

5. Risk Monitoring and Review:
- Periodic and pro-active review of compliance risks ensuring checks and balances are in place to detect and control such business risks

6. Core Compliance:
- Supporting the management team to lead and undertake the in-country Compliance function
- Develop and implement the Compliance Planning process which includes performing the risk assessments under the annual Compliance Plan, engaging with the business to ensure strong understanding of the compliance risk environment, and providing regular updates to the expat & local management, committees and/or Board
- Ensuring the implementation of policies, systems, and controls to monitor, mitigating, and managing compliance risks
- Maintain Vandika Abadi Group's data privacy policies and procedures
