Run since June 2021 and incorporated in Indonesia on September 2023, YLabs Institute is a working Unit under a foundation named Yayasan Riset dan Inovasi Pembangunan Indonesia as a non-government institution with a mission to create a sustainable impact ecosystem by developing and supporting more research and innovation initiatives that solve real-world challenges and drive sustainability. To achieve this mission, YLabs Institute also collaborate with multi-stakeholders like universities, governments, industries, incubator, and other organisations with spirit to deliver real impacts through science, innovation, and technology that embedded in various programs such as workshops, training, mentoring, networking, and access to funding. We are now also accepting members in our collaborative platfform named open-innovation.id to run several programs and assist impactful initiatives with personalized supports.
Role Description
This is a role for a People and Culture professional at YLabs Indonesia located in Yogyakarta, with flexibility for some remote work. The People and Culture professional will be responsible for creating and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives to support YLabs organizational goals. They will manage employee relations, talent acquisition and development, performance management, and compensation and benefits. The role will also involve fostering a positive work culture that align with YLabs Mission, promoting employee engagement and well-being, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. The deadline of this opportunity is April 9, 2024 at 15.00 PM (Jakarta Time).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Recently based in Yogyakarta
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in human resource and talent development
- Good knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience in a social enterprise, NGO, technology or research-driven industry is a plus
