We are seeking a Sales and Business Development Associate to join our founding team. This role is not just about sales it’s about building relationships and contributing to the growth of our startup. You will play a pivotal role in onboarding early clients, validating our product in the market, and supporting our marketing and other departments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and engage potential clients in the supply chain and logistics industries.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Provide insightful feedback from clients to improve the product and service offerings.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns, content, and promotional strategies.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to the management team.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking events.
- Work closely with the product development team to gather customer feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
- Assist in various functions across the company, adapting to the evolving needs of a startup environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience, preferably previous experience working in a startup company.
- Proven track record of success in sales or Business Development roles, preferably within the technology or recruitment industry.
- Strong understanding of the supply chain and logistics sector, with the ability to communicate effectively with industry professionals.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving growth and achieving targets.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and preferably experience using HubSpot CRM and Trello software.
