The Technical Specialist is in charge of providing technical expertise to support the sales team related to chemical treatment and water treatment technologies.

Description

• Empower the Sales Team: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sales team, assisting them in resolving customer inquiries and issues related to chemical treatment and water treatment technologies.
• Proactive Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with chemical programs, actively reporting progress and implementing best practices to ensure program effectiveness.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Conduct independent assessments to verify the sales team's adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) for water treatment programs.
• Technical Expertise: Offer comprehensive technical analysis across various water treatment areas, including cooling water, boiler water, and wastewater. Leverage your local knowledge of regional assets and operational capabilities to facilitate efficient problem-solving and prompt resolution of complex issues, such as equipment inspections and passivation processes.
• Driving Customer Success: Recommend improvements to operational, maintenance, and chemical programs to enhance customer satisfaction and optimize water management practices.
• Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with the sales team to address customer challenges and unlock new sales opportunities through technical expertise and collaborative efforts.
• Project Support: Assist the industrial technical consultant in conducting comprehensive plant audits to identify and develop water recycling project opportunities.
• Flexibility and Commitment: Be prepared to participate in after-hours, standby, or travel assignments when necessary to support field-based technical activities.
• Issue Escalation and Data Capture: Effectively escalate critical technical issues to the direct manager and ensure proper data capture on all relevant matters for informed decision-making regarding chemical program optimization, operational enhancements, and maintenance/repair plans.

Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in water supply, Wastewater Treatment, or environmental engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of water treatment principles and program management best practices.
• Strong understanding of local assets and operational performance within the region.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and functions to achieve shared objectives.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse internal stakeholders, including the sales team.
