Job Description

1. Technical Support:

• Assist technicians in solving difficult or complex problems in the field.
• Assess service quality level performed by technicians.
• Maintain and upkeep an efficient library on products, technical information, spare parts manual, ECB updates and other related technical documents. Ensure smooth information flow to all concerned.
• Improve resellers technical personnel on service capability and professionalism.
• Provide Technical Support to Equipment Sales & PT Service sales personnel.
• Responsible for the establishment and implementation of all quality procedures related to Technical Support.
• Maintain relevant records and report on regular intervals any technical problems with high incidence rates.
• Carry out periodic technical assessment of sub-contractors / suppliers for outsourced Technical Support.
• Co-ordinate with person(s) responsible to reinforce strength and improve weaknesses in the workflow chain.

2. Warranty administration:

• Responsible for warranty assessment / evaluation and approve FNS.
• Coordinate and assist with all warranty issues with the customers and Product Companies as needed.
• Ensure all warranty jobs are closed out timely and with reports and claims to the factory.

3. Technical Training:

• Determine technical training requirements of AC technicians, Distributor's technicians and customers. Develop training programs to improve competence level the team.
• Implement procedures to ensure that training activities are performed in an organized and structured manner.
• Document and maintain a Technical Library of all training materials.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5-year experience of technical knowledge in Atlas Copco Power Technique products or work experience in a related industry.
• A working knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance.

Knowledge:

• Computer literate.
• Electric-Mechanical troubleshooting skill.
• An understanding of computers and associated systems (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc), business systems, distribution channels and accounting practices

Educational Requirements:

• BS Engineering (Mechanical, Electric-Mechanical discipline) or equivalent work experience.

Personality Requirements:

• Proven managerial skills.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
