Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy: Facilitate and develop organization’s short to med-term goals including (1) Identifying growth opportunities, business model innovation, and facilitating cross-business unit initiatives (2) Monitoring short to mid-term business trends/outlooks (3) Gathering competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with Stakeholders (BOD-BOD-1).
- Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Conduct financial analysis, including (1) budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation (2) Evaluating and financial modeling of potential merger, acquisition, divestment, partnership and joint venture opportunities. (3) Analyzing and managing medium and long-term capital expenditure.
- Corporate Performance Management: Establish company-wide key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the organization's performance against strategic goals. Coordinate with HC on cascading down KPI to the organization. Analyze and report on performance trends, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment of efforts towards organizational goals.
- Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the Corporate Planning & Management Office Division, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Communication and Reporting: Prepare and present reports, presentations, and updates to senior management and other stakeholders, communicating key insights, recommendations, and progress towards strategic objectives.
- Carry out research and relevant studies on topics related to business, product expansion, company expansion, competitive analysis, policy and others as required and prepare reports on findings.
- Reviews and comments on materials and documents related to the execution of high-profile strategic projects and programs being presented to the CEO thus ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Oversees and follows-up with staff on the timely and quality execution of planned activities related to strategic projects and decisions taken by the CEO.
- Assist CEO in communicating in writing as well as in person from the CEO’s office to both internal staff and external, high-level officials and business executives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Must have had a minimum of 10 years in working experience in Significant experience in Strategic Planning, Corporate Planning & Management Office, or related roles within the EPC industry or Project based company.
- Extensive experience and close connections in the upstream, downstream, midstream oil and gas industry, power, and Industrial sector industry.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, corporate performance management, and financial analysis, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
