Job Description:
IPTV technical support engineers are responsible for providing technical support to ensure the normal operation of IPTV services and customer satisfaction. This engineer will have solid knowledge of network and communications technologies and be able to resolve a variety of technical issues related to IPTV services and work with customers, operations teams, and other relevant departments to assist with problem resolution and provide technical support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above, computer science, electronic engineering, communication engineering or related professional background is preferred.
- Have solid theoretical knowledge in networking, communications or related fields, and be familiar with network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP.
- Be familiar with IPTV related technologies and standards, such as MPEG-2, H.264, H.265 and other video coding standards, and understand the principles of streaming media transmission.
- Have good problem analysis and solving skills and be able to quickly locate and solve various technical problems.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to communicate and collaborate effectively with people at different levels and departments.
- Have strong stress resistance and self-management skills, and be able to work efficiently under pressure.
- Applicants with work experience in related industries will be given priority, especially those with experience in IPTV operation and maintenance, technical support or network engineering.
- Have good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and be able to read and understand English technical documents and materials.
