Job Function:
To lead and supervise the Vendor Development team, ensuring effective sourcing, accreditation, and issue resolution for a seamless process from vendor sourcing to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Sourcing and Accreditation: Understand project’s priority and utilize diverse channels to connect with potential vendors. Ensure efficient and timely accreditation of vendors, trucks, and drivers.
- Cost Analysis and negotiation: conduct thorough cost analysis and engage in negotiations with vendors to optimize transportation costs.
- Presentations and Reporting: Independently prepare presentations and reports for vendor meetings/orientation and internal meetings.
- Vendor Database Management: Manage and maintain the vendor databases in TMS, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Issue Resolution and Continuous Improvement: Proactively address and resolve vendor-related issues to ensure a smooth operation process.
