About the RoleAs an Acquisition Specialist (AS), you will be responsible for executing GoFood legendary and VIP merchants within the territory and cross-sell GoPay, Gobiz+ for non-F&B merchants, and GoMart. You will take ownership of finding new merchants, building engagement, and maintaining good relationships with all merchants' networks with regular visits upon assigned or existing leads. You will be our first-hand informants to help us understand the merchant's needs and advise them.
What You Will Do
- Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; set transaction targets in product mix, sales volume, market shares in their territory.
- Analyze consumer behavior, market insight, field situation, and market trend in their territory
- Regular review leads merchants (i.e., monitor merchant growth, transfer merchants to new categories, competitor activity, etc.)
- Provide advice to the merchant based on valid data analytics result to increase number of transactions
- Create a regular report to what's happening in their respective territory toward Regional/Nation-Wide company strategy
What You Will Need
- At least 3 years of Sales experience within the FMCG industry.
- Preferably has spent significant time (>1 year) in the representative area and has a strong network and knowledge about the region.
- Has existing relationship or able to bridge, develop, negotiate, and maintain a good relationship with the merchant
- Strong business sense and have a good understanding of the markets, customers, and competitors
- Fact-based / number-oriented individual who is comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Our team is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The gist of our role is to build, strengthen, and maintain our relationships with our merchant-partners in the region, as well as to create an ecosystem of solutions to support our merchant-partners on the Gojek platform to better manage and grow their business. Our Account Executives and Acquisition Specialist are one of the core stakeholders in our Gojek ecosystem; they’re involved in various offerings such as food delivery, offline payment acceptance, POS, financial services, deals, and promotions. Our team works closely with our merchant partners to oversee and grow our merchant campaign. Should you have a question about the various events we plan for our merchant-partners, or the communication channels we use to keep in touch with them, we are your people. Currently, we have been working hard at enhancing our work strategy to both increase and streamline our merchant-partner transactions. The big goal we always have at the back of our minds is to establish Gojek as the most trusted partner in the region and beyond.
