The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
A. Budget Data Management:
- Compile data for all cost categories on a monthly basis for budgeting purposes.
- Maintain and update records for each cost tracker.
- Conduct analysis on updates to each cost category.
B. Daily Warehouse Cost Control:
- Supervise the management of daily Cost Control activities within the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of cost tracker data and associated records.
- Monitor and approve purchase requests within budgetary constraints.
- Oversee the timely submission of invoices to the finance team and ensure payments are processed within deadlines.
C. Monthly Cost Reporting:
- Generate and manage monthly cost reports, including accrual reports for each cost category.
- Analyze actual costs against budgeted figures for each cost category.
