Our client is a multinational FMCG company with presence around the globe who are looking to double their business in the upcoming years. We are looking for a well seasoned Procurement Manager who will manage the AMEA region.
Description
- Device a fruitful sourcing strategy for the category with the biggest spend, Packaging.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and other factors.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead a team across countries.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a minimum of 10 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supply chain principles.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
