Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry/Bakery Chef to lead our pastry and bakery department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating high-quality baked goods, desserts, and pastries while also demonstrating strong leadership skills to oversee a team of Pastry Chefs and bakers. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of pastry and bakery techniques.

Develop and execute innovative pastry and bakery menus in line with the restaurant's concept and standards.
Oversee all aspects of pastry and bakery production, including recipe development, preparation, baking, and presentation.
Train, mentor, and supervise Pastry Chefs, bakers, and kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and efficiency in production.
Manage inventory, ordering, and procurement of ingredients and supplies for the pastry and bakery department.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards in the pastry and bakery kitchen.
Monitor food costs, wastage, and portion control to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
Collaborate with other kitchen departments and management to develop cross-functional menu items and promotions.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in pastry and bakery production.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times.
Handle customer inquiries, special orders, and custom pastry requests with professionalism and efficiency.
