PURPOSE

Reporting into the Head of People & Performance UK Operations, the HR Business Partner is responsible for providing a comprehensive and professional HR service to our Worcester Site.

The successful candidate will be expected to implement and adapt people management solutions and / or initiatives which will drive improvements and support the Site.

The position defines and agrees operational HR priorities and provides appropriate advice and direction on driving effective, risk-based solutions.

Partnering with the Site Leadership Team, the HR Business partner will help to train, coach, and build effective team dynamics, driving the talent agenda and making data centric decisions.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Partner with Functional Leads to develop and implement interpersonal and people related strategy.
  • Provide expertise in talent planning and management, performance management, reward, and recognition, learning and development, change and interpersonal development.
  • To lead and manage the implementation of the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) for People, Leadership and Development (PLD), standardising processes globally throughout all manufacturing sites, including the development of the Site People Committee, and supporting the Site with additional pathways as required.
  • To support an effective payroll provision with our outsourced supplier, Global Business Services (GBS) on all payroll related matters.
  • Own Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) methodology for People Compensation through robust tracking and analysis.
  • Support the HR Analyst UK Operations in the successful delivery of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Budget Process.
  • Work with Site Manager and the Head of People & Performance UK Operations to manage people related activity and data management, ensuring correct processes are followed.
  • Effectively manage employee relation issues to a successful conclusion, coaching and upskilling the Site Leadership Team.
  • Lead, with the support of the Site Leadership Team and People Committee, the Kraft Heinz engagement process including the Annual Action Planning.
  • To manage the Site Training Process, including the ownership of the skills matrix and learning management system.
  • To support the Head People & Performance UK Operations to develop and deliver the UK People and Performance Operational Plans, actively participating in other key initiatives and projects as required.
  • Liaise with People & Performance Teams across the Western Europe Business Unit to deliver an effective and consistent approach.
  • Identify improvements in ways of working, driving efficiencies and standardization of people processes.
  • Analyze data and statistics to identify trends, opportunities for improvements and to aid decision making.
  • To provide HR administrative support to the site and to support the wider HR team.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / COMPENTENCIES

  • CIPD Qualified, or currently working towards qualification.
  • Proven experience in a HR Generalist Role.
  • High standard of analytical capability.
  • Excellent understanding of UK employment law.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and cope with pressure.
  • Capacity to deal with conflicting priorities and multiple projects.
  • Ability to create, maintain and develop effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of delivering risk-based solutions.
  • Excellent, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
