Purpose
- This position is responsible for the timely fulfillment of administrative requirements and support daily activities for overall smooth operation. The position will also focus on ensuring that processes and procedures communicated and adhered to.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides overall clerical/administrative support to lawyer/s
- Helps in ensuring that legal processes and procedures are efficient and effective
- Keeps records of miscellaneous information related to legal documents and activities
- Attends to inquiries
- Coordinates requirements such as venue, facilities, and meals for business meetings
- Takes minutes of meeting during group meetings and its proper dissemination
- Files both hard copy and electronic documents and organize and maintain records and/or databases
- Needs to understand document control procedure
- Needs to be familiar with specific document types such as contracts, annexes, demand letters, and correspondences
- Prepares and files legal documents and other important documents
- Direct and coordinate activities including delivery of important documents; and
- Perform other related tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
