JOB Description :
- Oversee the day-to-day operations with the management team.
- Planning menus with the Chef and Marketing department
- Promoting the business whenever possible.
- Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports.
- Keeping financial records and working with the Head of Operations on budgets and forecasting.
- Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, and sales representatives.
- Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the business.
- Coordinating daily front- and back-of-house restaurant and bar operations.
- Arrange daily work with HOD’s.
- Make a weekly maintenance tracker with your heads of departments.
- Ensure full compliance to companies operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards.
- Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the company and management.
- Carry out inspections of property and services.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations. - A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies.
- Daily communication across many teams (accounting, operations, human resources and executive management).
- Interview, hire, train and manage new supervisors and managers.
- Develop the team and provide paths for growth within the company.
- Maintain company culture and staff morale.
- Keep operations as streamlined as possible.
- Understand key revenue drivers and identify any room for improvement.
- Make decisions on how to operate the business from both a guest and financial standpoint.
- Oversee and manage the new openings within the company.
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant event.
- Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads). - Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future operations.
