Position: E-commerce Head
Job Summary: The E-commerce Head is responsible for developing and executing the company's online sales strategy, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, and driving revenue growth in the Retail Apparel and Fashion Company. They will lead a team of professionals and work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the successful implementation of online sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- E-commerce Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- E-commerce Website and Marketplace Management:
- Responsible for increasing overall category sales and viewership of the company’s e-commerce websites and e-commerce marketplace/stores.
- Increase the e-commerce presence including developing new e-commerce marketplace stores
- Oversee the design, functionality, and user experience of the company's e-commerce website
- Ensure the website is optimized for SEO, mobile responsiveness, and user-friendliness.
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain website security and performance.
- Product Catalog Management:
- Manage the online catalog, including product listings, descriptions, and pricing.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure a diverse and appealing product assortment.
- Implement effective inventory management strategies.
- Digital Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
- Utilize various online marketing channels, such as PPC advertising, email marketing, social media, and influencer partnerships.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize ROI.
- Customer Experience Enhancement:
- Focus on enhancing the overall customer experience, from website navigation to post-purchase support.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to make improvements.
- Implement personalization strategies to cater to individual customer preferences.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Use data analytics tools to track key performance metrics, including conversion rates, traffic, and revenue.
- Generate regular reports for management and make data-driven recommendations.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of e-commerce professionals, including web developers, digital marketers, and customer support staff.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with local e-commerce regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain the security of customer data and online transactions.
