Description
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support business objectives and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimise financial resources and support operational needs.
- Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and cost-benefit analysis, to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risk and safeguard assets.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and materials for board meetings, investor relations, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and risk management.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, preferably in the Industrial Automation or manufacturing industry.
- Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial-modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques, as well as financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytic mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage and develop a team of finance professionals.
